You didn’t buy that belt to store it in a closet. But if you’ve tried to display one, you know the problem: championship belts are awkward objects. They don’t stand upright, they don’t sit flat, and the only real place for them is on the wall. That’s exactly the problem this project set out to solve.
The Throwback
Back in the early 2000s, WWE’s ladder match era turned championship belt hangers into a whole product category — WWE Shop sold official hangers to display the big belts after you won (or bought) one. Then it was gone, and anyone who wanted a hanger was out of luck until they got creative with brackets and zip ties.
This design is a direct throwback to those original WWE Shop hangers. Same idea — a clean frame that takes the belt off the shelf and puts it on the wall — rebuilt from scratch as a modern 3D print: 242 mm (≈9.5 in) wide, an 11 mm slim profile, with a smooth arched frame, full spherical end caps, and a sturdy integral hanging loop.
Why PETG
For a wall display that’s going to carry a real replica belt, material matters more than it looks. This prints in PETG, and for good reason:
- Stiff where it counts. The frame spans the full width of the belt on two contact points. PETG’s stiffness keeps the rails from deflecting or flexing under a heavy strap — PLA can creep over time under sustained load, PETG far less so.
- Impact resistant. Replica belts are metal-diecast and can be 3–4 lbs. If this thing gets bumped — or the belt swings when it goes on — PETG absorbs it instead of cracking. It’s the go-to filament for parts that get handled and dropped.
- No warping risk at this scale. A 242 mm flat piece with a uniform 11 mm profile slices and prints clean, with the layer adhesion PETG is known for along the load path.
The whole hanger is one solid piece, roughly 54 cm³ of PETG (about 67 g / 0.15 lb) of plastic. That’s the part that actually has to do the work — everything else is just the belt on the wall.
Hold-Up: One Full-Size Replica, No Issue
The design target was simple: one full-size replica championship belt, on the wall, without issue. A full-size replica typically runs 3–4 lbs, and the hanger holds it at its center of mass between two thick spherical end caps, with the load going straight up into the integral loop and a single wall anchor.
That load path is the whole trick. There’s no thin bridge, no screw-in insert, no secondary part — the frame, the end caps, and the loop are printed as one continuous piece, so there’s nothing to fail at a joint. The belt rests in the arched cradle and the loop hangs from a proper wall anchor, and PETG’s combination of stiffness and toughness does the rest.

Plain or With Your Logo
By default it prints plain — the frame is clean so the belt is the star.
But as requested, we add logos. The logo version carries raised relief geometry printed into the frame face — send us your design and it gets built into the print, no post-assembly, no stickers. Shallow relief like this reads best under raking light, which is exactly what the logo shot below shows.

Every piece is printed, inspected, and shipped made-to-order from Texas. We’re aiming for a $24 launch price with free shipping to the lower 48 states (Alaska and Hawaii are extra). Pricing is subject to change at launch.
